Irvine, California (August 20, 2012) – Morinaga America, Inc., marketing and distribution channel for Hi-Chew in the U.S., is proud to announce that Hi-Chew will be sponsoring the Electric Zoo Festival in New York City, August 31st through September 2nd. At the 3-day festival the Hi-Chew Airstream will be fully operational and loaded with candy and other goodies to pass out.
“When you look at the size of this festival it’s obvious that we have to be here,” said Toshiya Yasuda, President and CEO of Morinaga America. “The scene is quite literally electric,” added Clayton Perkins, Marketing Manager. “Festivals like Electric Zoo are the new thing for the upcoming generation. It’s not like electronic music in the 80’s or 90’s. The sound is richer, thicker, and more vibrant… just like the taste of Hi-Chew.”
As a sponsor of the Electric Zoo Festival, Hi-Chew will have the Airstream rolled out by the front gate so that everyone coming in can experience the natural fruit flavors and unique chewy texture of Hi-Chew. Of course, there will be a whole lot of schwag to give away as well. The t-shirt press will be hot, and the stickers sticky for those revelers looking to stand out from the crowd.
